The VTCT Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Barbering is aimed at learners who wish to pursue a career as an employed and/or self-employed barber. In this fast paced, exciting industry you can be sure we will support and direct you to be the best you can possibly be in this field. Units that will be covered during your learning path will include how to cut men’s hair and cutting the facial hair. You will also learn consultation and communication skills.

Health and safety is huge in our industry and we will ensure that this is covered in full to help you understand how to work safely and effectively.

As part of the course you will receive a small kit to enable practice and allowing you to develop skills further with self-study.

Whilst the primary purpose of this qualification is to prepare you for employment, you may choose to develop your knowledge and skills further by completing an advanced apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Barbering.

The qualification not only provides you with extensive career opportunities, it is also internationally recognised and demonstrates your ability to work to an industry-standard level of practice.

The VTCT Level 2 Certificate in Barbering allows you to gather evidence in a realistic working environment working on lots of different types of models throughout the course. This predominantly practical course allows for plenty of time to learn and use your skills you develop throughout. This will ensure you are confident and able to work in industry as a qualified level 2 Barber on completion.

This course runs over 15 weeks, 1 day a week.

A deposit is required of £100 to secure any course place and the balance of payment is due 72 hours prior to the course date. Your place will not be held if deposit or full payment has not been made.

We require 72 hours notice for cancellation for full refund, if within 72 hours of the course we can move you to another date however if within 24 hours or no show full payment is held as cost recovery.
