Emma MacMillan - Director
Emma qualified as a beauty therapist many years ago after firstly training within college then advancing her training in the UK and France.
Emma has owned many salons over the years and enjoyed a career as a lecturer in beauty therapy before starting Mac-Ed Training Academy in 2019 . With a solid career involving quality assurance within the educational sector Emma ensures a robust quality environment for all in the academy. Overseeing all operations within the academy, mentoring new staff and developing new courses and content, Emma ensures the academy growth and direction to meet the needs of all of our customers and learners.

Mac-Ed Training is pleased to announce that they are now affiliated with community organisations, allowing learners to access funding through a variety of routes and achieve accredited qualifications. This allows our learners to gain up-to-date knowledge and on-going guidance and support throughout their education with us.

Association of Beauty Therapy (ABT) We are thrilled to now offer short courses which are now accredited with ABT. Accreditation is crucial to give you confidence that all our courses are delivered by professionals within our sector and having the seal of approval from ABT. It ensures that courses we deliver are up to industry standards and are recognised as full qualifications. It allows you to gain insurance to be fully insurable to protect you and your clients from all treatments and services you undertake.

Vocational Training Charitable Trust (VTCT) is a specialist international awarding and assessment organisation offering qualifications within the hair and beauty sectors. VTCT offers qualifications ranging from entry level 3 up to level 4 vocationally related qualifications (VRQ) to nationally related qualifications (NVQ), these can be achieved by varying sized qualifications.
