VTCT Level 2 NVQ Pedicure Training

5 day pedicure training course with the addition of gel polish training

This is an intensive course run over 5 days

This qualification is about providing pedicure services to clients.

It covers consulting with the client, recognising any contra-indications, preparing for the service and producing a service plan.

It also covers filing the nails, applying skin and cuticle treatments, cleaning and drying the feet, removing excessive hard
skin, massaging the foot and lower leg and providing a suitable nail finish.
To carry out this qualification you will need to maintain effective health, safety and hygiene throughout your work. You will also need to
maintain your personal appearance and good communication with the client.

The main outcomes of the qualification are:
1. Maintain safe and effective methods of working when providing pedicure services
2. Consult, plan and prepare for the pedicure service
3. Carry out pedicure service
4. Provide aftercare advice

  • Gel polish Application
  • Sterilisation & hygiene procedures

This course is accredited by VTCT who are a leading awarding body in the nail and beauty industry. This NVQ qualification in Pedicure is also accompanied by an ABT qualification in Gel Polish.

You will be supplied with a great starter kit to allow you to practice your skills within the academy and then continue at home. Our products are all top brands you will find from professional companied within this varied and competitive world of nails.

All course materials will be supplied to include health and safety, procedures and trouble shooting with extensive anatomy and physiology content to aid your understanding of the processes of chemicals involved and what they may do to your clients on application.

Assessment methods include practical observation working on clients as well as external multiple choice exams.

A deposit of £100 is required to confirm your place on this course with the balance being paid 72 hours before the start date.
